UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

Scholarship applications are accepted from October to January each academic year for scholarships awarded for the next academic year. The current scholarship deadline is January 22, 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year.

All Biological Sciences scholarship applications are submitted through Scholarship Central.

To apply for a scholarship, please visit https://vt.academicworks.com/opportunities to complete the General Application and the College of Science application

Once you complete these applications the Biological Sciences application will appear in the Recommended Opportunities section, or you can navigate to the Biological Sciences application using this link: https://vt.academicworks.com/opportunities/56764

A complete application requires: your resume, response to an essay prompt, and the name and email address of one person who will provide a letter of recommendation.

Some scholarships are based on merit only, others are based on merit and financial need.  Financial need must be verified by submitting a FAFSA, so be sure to submit the FAFSA to receive maximum consideration.
